monday, Hopes and dreams day.

Hopes and Dreams Day was dedicated to one of Disney;s most valuable lessons learned throughout every Disney Production— always have hope and believe in your dreams.

On this day, students dressed as doctors, nurses, lawyers, teachers, old Hollywood inspirations, crazy cat women, banana’s in suits, and much more.

As the classic song says, “anything your heart desires will come to you,”

and these Loonies sure have some creativity in their hearts!

Tuesday, tacky tourist tuesday.

Tacky Tourist Tuesday is for all the hawaiian shirt enthusiasts who can’t resist an opportunity to throw on a bucket hat and carry around a fanny pack in a socially acceptable manner.

Loonies went on a trip Tuesday, as Minnie and Mickey Mouses’ covered the halls of Leesville Road High School. The ears purchased from Disney tourist stores came out of the attic, and selfie sticks became a key accessories to many costumes.

These tacky tourists are anything but tacky where school spirit is concerned.

Wednesday, Favorite Character Wednesday.

This day spoke itself. Loonies showed a fine example of what it is really like to be a “Disney Kid.”

From all the classic movies Disney has brought into our childhoods, students were not afraid to show who was their favorite character.

Princesses, Princes, Cowboys, and small monsters from our beloved incorporation loaded the campus of Leesville Road High.

The lesson learned from Wednesday’s spirit day— The loonies love Disney!
